-Stepping out the comfort zone: is painful but is the only way to grow, leadership is about leaving your comfort zone and taking a risk to engage those around you. Is all about to lave the comfort and security of the known to risk the unknown.
– Taking mentors with you: whether taking up new responsibilities of leadership or continuing in service, We all need mentors and friends to guide and inspire, to challenge and support us as we live and work. All of us need a Mentor to encourage us and hold us accountable for our growth and our calling.
-Going back to serve: we are called to be servants of Jesus Christ who care for the people who have been entrusted to us and point them to God in every act of leadership and service that we undertake. Leadership is a relationship of service-a relationship in which influence and leadership flow from service, not from position or status.
