We have to be #obsessed in the business of #forgiving.
Peter: Lord, when someone has sinned against me, how many times ought I forgive him?
Once? Twice?As many as seven times?
Jesus: You must forgive not seven times, but seventy times seven.
Matthew 18:21-35
Let’s start by clarifying that we are all broken and sinners. Yes you (we) area!
but we live in a world full of violence because we all want to punish others, but not give them the gift of forgiveness. As you see what we do is act like the slave in book of Matthew 18:23-25.
This slave begged for the King’s pardon, but did not forgive those who had lacked, when the king forgave him, He never asked him back what he had given him.
None of us deserve the mercy of God. No only that , we do not have it just to be better than other. It is the most purest gift from God.
-“Mercy is who is GOD”
We are all constantly looking for forgiveness but we do not want to forgive others, we have to be obsessed in the business of forgiving!!
